Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) is a plant native to South Africa and widely cultivated in Italy, China, Egypt, Spain, France, Morocco and Japan. The orange (Citrus sinensis) is a citrus fruit created in India, from the crossing of the grapefruit with the tangerine. Aromatherapy with orange oil reduces anxiety and relieves moderate symptoms of depression and stress.
These essential oils are obtained by cold pressing of the fruit peel, so it is possible to contaminate them by pesticides and other chemicals used in conventional agriculture.
