Biological Essential Oil of Bergamot


The bergamot, similar to a small orange of yellow color, is cultivated in the region of Calabria. Its name comes from the city of Bergamo in Italy, because it was there that its oil was originally marketed in Europe from Morocco. Bergamot essential oil has been described as having relaxing action in aromatherapy as well as analgesic and neuroprotective capabilities.

Main constituents: Limonene (38.4%), linalyl acetate (28.9%), linalool (13.4%).

Precautions in the use of Bergamot essential oil: May irritate sensitive skin. May cause photosensitivity.

Biological essential oil of Black Pepper


Black pepper (Piper nigrum) is a plant native to Asia and is currently grown in tropical regions around the world. Its fruits, after being dried, are used in cooking as a seasoning. Its essential oil has recognized insecticidal properties and is used in aromatherapy for its stimulant, analgesic and expectorant properties.

Biological essential oil of Geranium


Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) is a plant native to South Africa and widely cultivated in Italy, China, Egypt, Spain, France, Morocco and Japan. These constituents are used in perfumery and also in the insect repellent industry. The oil has the ability to reduce oiliness of the skin and is therefore widely used in the cosmetic industry. It has antiseptic, anti-depressive, anti-inflammatory and diuretic capabilities.
In aromatherapy is used in the fight against acne, cellulitis, tonsillitis, depressions, sore throats, kidney problems and insect repellent. Scientific research also suggests anxiolytic properties.
Constituents: Citronellol (30.1%), geraniol (15.7%).
Do not use during pregnancy, nor by people with hypersensitive skin.

Citronella Biological Essential Oil


The citronella of Ceylon (Cymbopogon nardus) is mostly cultivated in Sri Lanka, hence its name. Its essential oil is a recognized insect repellent. In vitro tests also indicate that it has activity against Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. Its distinctive aroma also makes it an interesting ingredient for the production of perfumes and soaps. Thanks to its properties, it is also incorporated into various insect repellent products.
Main constituents: geraniol (20%), trans-methylisoeugenol (9%), camphene (6%).
Avoid during pregnancy.

Cypress Biological Essential Oil


Due to its vasoconstricting and anticoagulant activities, the topical application of cypress essential oil induces a decrease in varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Cupressus is a tree native to the Middle East, used in Portugal for ornamental purposes.

Niaouli Biological Essential Oil


Niaouli is a persistent leaf tree native to Oceania. The essential oil of this plant is used in the treatment of respiratory, gynecological and urinary infections. It also has healing effect and is used in the treatment of acne. Scientific studies also suggest that it boosts the immune system.

Orange Sweet Organic Essential Oil


The orange (Citrus sinensis) is a citrus fruit created in India, from the crossing of the grapefruit with the tangerine. Aromatherapy with orange oil reduces anxiety and relieves moderate symptoms of depression and stress.
These essential oils are obtained by cold pressing of the fruit peel, so it is possible to contaminate them by pesticides and other chemicals used in conventional agriculture. In addition, the use of these chemicals alters the composition of the essential oil, namely the amount of aldehydes, minor components which are still important in determining their quality.

Main constituents: Limonene (95.2%), myrcenene (1.9%), α-pinene (0.6%).

Organic Essential Oil of Cravinho


The clove or clove (Eugenia caryophyllata) is a plant native to South-West Asia. The essential oil is obtained from the buds of its flowers, after dry, being constituted mainly by eugenol.With antiseptic, healing and analgesic properties, being widely used in dentistry.Described as a stimulant and considered aphrodisiac. It can be used in rheumatoid arthritis, muscle aches, mouth infections and sinusitis.
Constituents: Eugenol (76.7%), eugenol acetate (12.4%) and caryophyllene (8.4%).
Use in reduced quantities.
Do not use during pregnancy.
Do not apply in children or adults with respiratory allergies or hypersensitivity to this or other aromatic compounds.

Organic Essential Oil of Lemon-Fennel


Its lemongrass essential oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus) has anti-fungal properties and is used as a bio-pesticide in crop protection. It also has deodorizing properties and aromatherapy is considered to be relaxing and anti-inflammatory.
Its properties can be used for the preparation of massage oils, creams and lotions.
Main constituents: geranium (45.0%), mineral (32.6%), geraniol (4.8%).
