Ginger is a condiment used throughout the world due to its spicy taste. In aromatherapy is used as treatment of digestive problems, motion sickness, circulatory activation, muscle pain. Scientific studies indicate that the major compounds of ginger have anti-mutagenic capacity.
Main constituents: α-zingiberene (30.2%), β-sesquipelandene (12.6%), β-bisabolene (8.9%) α-curcumene (7.5%).
