The clove or clove (Eugenia caryophyllata) is a plant native to South-West Asia. The essential oil is obtained from the buds of its flowers, after dry, being constituted mainly by eugenol.With antiseptic, healing and analgesic properties, being widely used in dentistry.Described as a stimulant and considered aphrodisiac. It can be used in rheumatoid arthritis, muscle aches, mouth infections and sinusitis.
Constituents: Eugenol (76.7%), eugenol acetate (12.4%) and caryophyllene (8.4%).

These constituents are used in perfumery and also in the insect repellent industry. The oil has the ability to reduce oiliness of the skin and is therefore widely used in the cosmetic industry. It has antiseptic, anti-depressive, anti-inflammatory and diuretic capabilities.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a herbaceous plant of the family Zingiberaceae, originating from the island of Java, India and China, from where it spread to the tropical regions of the world. Ginger is a condiment used throughout the world due to its spicy taste. In aromatherapy is used as treatment of digestive problems, motion sickness, circulatory activation, muscle pain. Scientific studies indicate that the major compounds of ginger have anti-mutagenic capacity.
Main constituents: α-zingiberene (30.2%), β-sesquipelandene (12.6%), β-bisabolene (8.9%) α-curcumene (7.5%).
