O óleo tem a capacidade de reduzir a oleosidade da pele, sendo por isso muito utilizado na insústria cosmética. Tem capacidades anti-sépticas, anti-depressivas,anti-inflamatórias e diuréticas.
Em aromaterapia é utilizado no combate ao acne, celulite, amigdalite, depressões, dores de garganta, problemas renais e repelente de insectos. A pesquisa científica sugere ainda propriedades ansiolíticas.

The bergamot, similar to a small orange of yellow color, is cultivated in the region of Calabria. Its name comes from the city of Bergamo in Italy, because it was there that its oil was originally marketed in Europe from Morocco. Camphor essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora) is traditionally used in cases of rheumatic pain, muscle pain, indigestion and respiratory problems such as asthma and bronchitis. It also has antiseptic properties.
