O Patchouli (Pogostemon patchouli) é uma planta nativa do Sudeste da Ásia. Com um aroma muito característico, é utilizado em perfumaria como fixador. O Patchouli tem capacidades anti-sépticas, anti-inflamatórias, estimulantes, sendo consididerado afrodisíaco. Devido ao seu uso excessivo por volta dos anos 60, caiu um pouco em desuso precisamente pelo seu aroma forte, mas nos dias de hoje volta a ganhar popularidade pelas suas capacidades terapêuticas.
Constituintes principais: patchoulol, alfa-bulneseno, alfa-guaineno, gama-patchouleno.
